Yesterday I was given the opportunity to master two trax for the ever talented Lone wolf Rapper Elvaughn Riley.

We used T-Racks 3 standard, the compressor and clipper. As well as the Waves L2.

We use both companies- Waves & Ik multimedia. Mainly because IK multimedia`s T-Racks adds that phatt/warm, sound to the track. Then to boost things a bit more, we run the Waves L2 Maximizer in Sound forge to get the trax up to commercial levels.

For the most part, we do not touch the EQ, when mastering. But of course if the song really cries out- PLEASE USE EQ! Then by all means we will.

But for the most part the classic compressor and clipper in T-racks standard 3, and the Waves L2 dos the trick.
