Today we worked with Elvaughn Riley from Milwaukee.
He is currently serving the navy here in Japan.
We were able to record some vocals with his friend who is also a rapper.
He also introduced me to another person who will be a client in the future for mixing of a song.
The BLA 173 is dope.
Elvaughn Riley`s rapping is dope too!
If you don`t believe me go to his soundcloud link
He will be uploading a new track entitled “Undisputed.”
At some parts, he sounds like Jay-Z.
He said he will be using our label as well.
Thanks Elvaughn You rock!
Stay tuned for more blissful pop news!!
Today we recorded vocals. In particular, harmonies, for a song called “Lalaland”.
She didnt know what to sing for a two part harmony for the main parts. So I helped her out with that. By showing her what to sing.
We also worked on a new song that had a cool riff to it, by the band leader Jun.
Anyways, that`s what happened in the studio today.
Yesterday we packed a good two hour session with Lone wolf productions Elvaughn Riley. this kid knows how to drop dem beatz.
He is actually part of a group that is creating a brand called, Low society, or Lone wolf. I am not exactly sure, but here, I will let his words speak for himself;
“Great studio session you are amazing thank you”
We had lots of fun in the studio, recorded some vocals, through our boutique BLA 173, ad the FMR audio Vintagey compressor, the PBC6a. As well as some Phat mastering for one song!
Overall we are getting a pretty big sounding sound with this combo, going through RME converters into Cakewalk`s Sonar, Producer edition.
So keep an eye out on Soundcloud and soon to be released Stickers, and T-shirts from Low Society, and new beatz all rapped by none other than the infamous Elvaughn Riley!
Anways that`s all things blissful for today!
Come back again to check out for all things Bliss & new in the pop world!
Peace! I`m out!
Yes! These guys have been good clients of mine for a while now.
They have come to the studios in the past. But now we pretty much work online. DJ Ali sent me Stems to edit into a song. That was challenging, since I had to sync the tempo to the original track that was the standard. But it wasn`t possible to sync it, so I had to just use my intuition.
Chris Larke, sent me four stems. Vocals, and guitars. I then mixed them and added electric guitar, as well as bass, and a loop.
He sent me the BPM, which made it easier for me to work on the project.
Anyways thats whats been happening at stillbliss.
Enjoy the rest of our Sunday!!
This is a post to let you know that we are selling Takaki Longfield`s new track entitled “Summer Spectrum”.
It will be released on all major online retailers on 7/7/17.
Three sevens! Can`t go wrong there!
This track will be released with our label.
It was mastered at Abbey Road studios. Mixed at stillbliss.
If you are a connoisseur of Japanese Vocaloid tracks, and everything Jpop, then this song might be for you!
We still do not know when we will upload to Youtube. But when we know, we will let YOU know!
Yesterday, I was able to have some fun times in the studio with my band Slingshotmillion2.
We recorded Guitar`s, vocals, and drums.
First off we had our drummer come early, to record the drums. Next we recorded the guitar parts. Then vocals.
I will be working on mixing the track, which is called “1, 3, 4.”
t know why its called that, but I guess anything is pop these days!
Oh yes, by the way, the main riff melody for “1, 3, 4” is my melody. My band decided (Finally), on using one of the many melodies I have been sending to my mates.
Also on another topic. I sent a petition to Abbey road mastering services. Which are pretty dope by the way.
I asked them to redo a master, because the vocals were too quiet.
So they sent a revision. And it sounds Much much better.
You can hear what the vocals are saying.
All that to say. Be ready for some Vocaloid action from Takaki Longfield. Soon to be released on major online retailers.
