The Stillbliss Method.

Why am I writing about the Stilbliss method? Well, I thought I`d give you a history of our studios.

We have been producing artists for the past decade or so now. And just not ANY artist. we have had people come from Australia, new Zealand, the UK, Africa, the US, you name it!

So, this morning I`ve got some time on my hands, so I thought I`d blog about what`s been happening in these walls of ours.

Sometimes people are attracted to a certain sound, that they consider POP music. not saying that that is a bad thing. But sometimes getting a taste of the underground scene of music, can make you take a better take on music in general.

Yes. I know, we are all duped by the major companies like Universal, Disney, marvel etc. So in a sense, we have NO SENSES. And we just float off to whatever direction that the climate is taking us.

Not saying that is bad either. but honestly, you won`t get the heritage of the underground music scene without first having a taste of it.

Basically what I`m trying to imprint on your mind is, just that, The Stillbliss Method.

Of course there are major labels, that can get your album onto major distributors of Physical media, ie, LP and CD`s.

But sometimes, you need to look for music yourself. That is the fun in life. Finding a sound you never thought existed. Again, YOU are the final decision maker, whether you`ll put down your hard earned dollar for that song you hear on the radio or online, whether it be soundcloud, YouTube, etc.

I recently myself have been searching for new tunes. On Youtube, etc.

But the search is all part of the pop culture. Yes, LP`s are coming back.

Here in Japan, people still buy CD`s. Which is like a digital copy of an LP.

Anyways, what I want to say in a nutshell is this- Go look for yourself. Don`t let the big names in the industry decide what you can or cannot listen to.

Let your conscious be your guide. And remember to take in the day, just as it comes to you. Take the day. Make it yours!

Part 17 of the Lagoli talk show.

So, yeah. Honestly, they pay me pittance for recording these shows. Only 20$ for recording three shows. They have money but they think this is THEIR studio.

So, just recently, I made it clear to them that this is MY business. And I run it the way I want to. But of course all they say is- Well, we just won`t use you then.

Suckers…

Of course there are the polite people who actually pay the amount that it says on the fees page.

But all that ado, I give you their 17th rendition. Of their cheap ass talk show.
Here it is. My monitor speakers, one of them is broken, it intermittently works, and my mixer`s headphone jack needs replacement. And my DAW is having a hard time booting up. But they still only pay what THEY want to. Suckers!

Honestly people. Work for your time in a studio. So the engineer can keep the fucking studio running. And the gear running too.

So anyways, this is my life. I`m divorced because of people like this. Yes, this is not my day job, but it is ONE of my jobs. I hate people like Slingshotmillion. At least I`m not in their band anymore. That COMPLETELY sucked up all my money.

Bands suck. YouTubers as well. If you want to use a studio folks. Please pay the engineer something. not barely anything to keep a divorced man paying his rent and bills and support his family.

Jun & Yui rock again in the studio.

Yes. You may not want to hear it, but they came again.
To record another set of YouTube videos, basically radio talk shows in the space of about 15-20 minutes.

Yes you may want to hear about how all peachy things are. But honestly, I would give you all my skills, uduh, if I had any, to you. But honestly, I am getting paid squat for these recordings.

They think they are doing a service by coming over.

But no-one watches or listens to the stuff coming out of this studio anyways.

You all are probably just waiting for me to get ugly and fat sitting in front of this PC.

But honestly? This is not bliss. What is? Maybe gay people, maybe people who are working to listen to youtube videos.

But honestly, do you really think living off of junk food and SHIT really serves for me to be the one blogging about shit?

Honestly no. Just a sec, I need to smoke. No. I dont.

I am going to sip on a coke. Just a sec.

Alright, feeling a little bit better now.

But honestly. When you first came to this website, you were probably like, WTF is Stillbliss anyways.

Well, we started out as a band. Bands break up. People move on.

Me?? I kept on with the true feeling of music. Where you make music blissfully. not sitting behind some huge console thinking you are the boss. Of universal studios, or Capitol records.

We are a studio in Sagamihara which chooses to rock your world.
We dont put up with Bull shit.

Sorry but today I am just letting you know that I do not want any shit from you when you read this.

Of course i am getting paid. but i am not going to tell you how much. because honestly, this is a fucking retarded job.

Nobody wants to let you know the details that a recording entails.

And no one gives away secrets for free.

Okay, I am gonna finish this coke with some take out dinner from Sukiya.

Stay blissed out folks.

Peace Im out.

Songwriting, and keeping the inspiration up.

So,

You say you don`t have any energy to write songs?
Maybe you are waiting on someone to write one for you..?

Well honestly, you need to start doing things yourself.

Yes, we are a studio and label that doesnt adhere to the masses. But that doesnt mean we can`t post about inspiration.

Sometimes people aren`t so sweet, sometimes people ARE sweet.

People can be strange sometimes.

So, honestly, YOU need to make your future.

Write a song, drink sum coffee, maybe a cup or two.

And get on with your life as a songwriter/musician.

Nobody is going to do things for you.
You need to get on with your life.

Be blessed. Be blissed out.

Peace. Be. With. YOU!

POP Culture Origins- Jazz, blues, Rock, & Pop music. Education- for 2018.,Or what`s left of it.

Right now, I am sitting on the floor in my Bedroom/Office, that has my Internet operated Windows vista PC. Some people think Vista is good, or bad, either way, I care not. So yes! Sitting down and listening to itunes POP music. So what is POP culture? And how do I get into it? Well, hopefully this little rant, will do the trick. Ever heard of Jesus Christ? Well, he came as our saviour, out from Heaven. The `Supreme` being. And well, humans killed him. But honestly, being on earth CAN suck. If you are not working or have a job. It doesn`t really matter WHICH job. As long as you`ve got some form of income, you`ll learn how to cope with your budget. I`ve lived all around Japan, as a missionary`s kid. Homeschooled, learned guitar at the age of 11. Been to Guam twice. Been to Okinawa. And am wishing for more travels. As for now, all I can do is just blog. And hopefully YOU, the reader, will like what comes on this blog. We publish promote and help artists/musicians/bands, on their quest to make themselves heard. Ever heard of Jazz music? Well, look it up on Youtube. Or just do a Wikipedia search. But honestly all it is, is difficult to play on an instrument Genre of music. Blues, and POP/rock probably originated from this artform. Some people might think- “Man, if I ever lose all my money, I`ll be broke and be homeless!” True. to an extent. But honestly, what`s pop? Supreme? Human? It`s Family!! It`s pop culture, it`s: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and the internet, which really changed our view of the world. But honestly, what IS pop? I can`t decide that for you. As we all make our own imprint on this world. And in one word- THAT, is POP culture. Give your all to the world, friends, family and just enjoy the rest. Ok. Enough ranting. Time to take a short coffee break.

A Caffeinated post! All about the history of our studios.

Dear reader,

YOU! Yes, YOU! I am talking to you, in first person, while downing a cup-a-joe. I am not the exceptionally busy type of person since running this studio. There are times that I wonder if all the gear I own was or IS worth it.

Sometimes I wonder if selling all my gear and getting a REAL job like driving people or things or just doing something other than the studio thing. You know- Like, Wrapping cables, listening to music in the control; which is NOT a job, I know.

Also making videos for clients, mastering, mixing, and recording the folks who come to this fine place I call a home/studio.

The nice thing about running a studio, you get to meet new faces and learn alot about audio and the many facets of it. Yes sometimes clients bale out on something that took you a grueling couple of days, and then they say, they dont like it, and wont pay you a cent.

But then there are the days where the solid clients who KNOW what work actually goes into working in a studio, and running a recording studio- they pay. And then it makes everything seem right.

Right now, I am just sitting in front of my old Windows Vista PC, with yes, I know, I said it- Coffee. And listening to the latest album from James bay- Electric light.

He is a prolific writer, with “Hold back the river” being one of his famous tunes. I guess you could say that is what makes music so interesting. You get to listen to new albums that you never heard of.

For me, since I dont have any more friends referring me to albums. I listen to the grammys then I choose in my mind which ones I like, then if they come out with an album, I hand over my hard earned cash from performing as a pastor for weddings.

Music is like a drug for me. After work, or during work, or going to work, I listen to my ipod nano. Which is a joy to play with.

Its like a toy to me. Growing up with tapes And then CDs, and then MDs. And now back to CDs.

I guess CDs wont be disolving. As buying CD`S is still a thing here in Japan.

And I don`t think that will go away.

And of course there are those LP hoarders.

But I know nothing about LPs. just CDs, MD`s, and tapes. I grew up in the eighties. So During the VHS and tape era, I guess you could say I grew up in a good era.

Anyways, thanks for listening to me babel on about music. It`s in my blood. And if you follow this blog, with all the people that come to record and do whatever they do to make a noise of make history. You are taking the journey with me. Thank you!

I guess this never touched on our history; More like the history of the format of Music formats

Anyways, best wishes for the fall, then winter that will be coming down upon us soon.

Stay warm, stay happy! And don`t forget, Coffee IS cheaper than redbull or monster!

Jazz, Waking up early, and How to live a life of bliss.

Today we cover some ground on Jazz, life and getting wealth and health. Yes. We all know the Maxim by Benjamin Franklin: Early to bed, early to rise, makes you healthy, wealthy & wise.

Of course do we actually do that? I mean honestly, do you sleep early? Wake up early? I know that us here in Japan are awake early. Life starts in the morning! Yes. Sometimes we might not have anything worth waking up to.

But, life itself- is really all you need to wake up to. Yesterday, I worked in the studio; mixing songs for my band, which will be touring around Japan in the next few months. And honestly, we WILL be waking up early, and maybe have a couple days worth of sleep taken away from us. They say; that sleep drains your body of bad toxins. So sleep, in itself, IS a healer. So, get yourself some sleep. Listen to good music, and be happy, wealthy, & wise! And remember; just having money ain`t meaning dat you are wealthy. Having kids, and a reason to wake up in the morning: THAT`s a form of wealthiness. So honestly, I`m here blogging on my computer, listening to Jazz on YouTube. And listening to the radio`s news- and I`m happy about it.

That`s really all you need. Good music, and happiness! The rest is all extras!

Hello hello!

Yes! We are still in the business of making music. The music biz!

We have a gotten emails from people wanting to use us for free, all the way down to someone asking if we were a rehearsal studio.

But, first and foremost we are a recording studio/label that will never adhere to the public. But will tell things like they are. That is what has made us successful. Yes! You may use our label, if you have some relation to us!

Anyways. Recently weve been coordinating with Chris Ekral/Larke/Commander. Weve just sent off a mastered version of his song called “Making ten”. It`s a cute diddly little tune about making ten. 1 plus nine equals 10 etc, etc. He pays us through paypal. And he has been the most faithful client of Stillbliss. He has been using our services as well as our label from day one!

I (Jesse) have been busy with music too. As I am in a punk rock band here in Tokyo/Kanagawa. So its flowing through our bones.

Our studio is also supported by my sweet sister, who, pays for our hosting and site development. So, no worries on the dissapearing of this site.

We have been using Stillbliss as our logo theme for already more then ten years, and counting.

So when you do come to record and use our services, and uploading to digital distribution you are cashing in on our legacy and history.

So enough talk. Now, go and buy one of our Blissful tunes!
