Today I woke up at 7:30. Even though my body clock needs some sleep from the other night of only sleeping 6 hours.
I usually sleep around 9-10 hours. But I guess the sleep that I’ve been getting recently was a buffer to protect me from the recent early bird days.
And today was one of those days. So, I went downstairs, after a shave and getting dressed, made myself a cup of coffee, and some bread and eggs. Then afterwards started to record some guitar parts for Chris Ekral. His name is actually Chris Larke. But recently he has been using Ekral as his band name.
He will be using our label after these songs are mastered and ready to be published.
So as far as recording goes, I recorded some bass guitar as well as changed some levels, which is known as mixing.
Also re-recorded some guitar parts. And then wrote rap lyrics for my band.
There will be a DJ from Nagoya coming over this month, as far as I know. As well as a guitar player with his singer coming here in August to record.
So stay tuned for more fun & blissful news!
Over and out!
This is the link to a radio recording we did recently.
They (The Trashman’s) are a band that Slingshotmillion have performed live with over the years, and they just recently graced us with their presence here at our stillbliss factory.
This is all in Japanese so if you don’t speak or understand Japanese its not funny. But if you do, it’s light entertainment.
Anyways. That’s what we’ve been up to recently as well.
Today I woke up early around 6:00. And felt great!
We are getting closer to finishing up the recording of Slingshotmillion 2’s songs.
Mixing and then mastering will be coming along real soon.
I will be playing the lead guitar at Shimokitazawa on the 17th at Rokudemonaiyori this month, so I need to practice guitar so I can be up to par with the band.
Pumped up with Coffee and a good breakfasst of Bacon and eggs and coffee.
Things sure are looking up for my studio and band.
If all goes well, I will practice in the next coming days, so I can be up to par like I already said.
Coffee sure can get you going, so can a good night’s sleep.
I went to sleep early last night, so I got a good head start on the day. It’s only 10:13 as of this writing. And I have nothing to do for the next few days, other than mastering and recording stuff.
Anyways I will soon be mastering the three tracks that we recorded and mixed soon in the coming days or hours.
I will post a link to them, once they are published on Youtube.
And then all Slingshotmillion fans will know what to sing to before we perform these songs on the 17th.
It has been a grueling past few days of nonstop recording for the band slingshotmillion. We recorded vocals, guitars, screaming, you name it! We are almost getting close to the bands live event where yours truly will be performing in Tokyo on the 17th. There’s not so much time, so I do hope that my band members reply soon, so I can start mastering the three songs we recorded.
Overall, much fun was had, and we will keep you updated with news from the studio.
Oh, and we also have been mixing a new version of Leboyfriend from Chris Larke.
He sent us Stems from England, and we are trying our best to get the song the way HE wants it! We do wish the best for Chris and Slingshotmillion2.
OK Over and out. Stay cool peeps! In this hot weather. Stay cool.
Tonight, well, yes tonight.
We recorded a band called Trashman.
We recorded a radio talk show hosted by Slingshotmillion’s Main man Jun.
The session started around 20:00. And finished around, 22:30.
All members of the band seemed happy.
And they all said thank you for the great time they had here.
Overall much fun was had, and the radio talk show will go up on Youtube shortly.
There are four members from the band Trashman, which will be performing with the band Slingshotmillion At Shimokitazawa on the 17th at Rokudemonaiyori live house.
Stay tuned for more news. As we will be recording some more radio shows here in the near future.
Recently we have been working on three songs for Slingshotmillion2. They are pop punk songs with distortion guitar, and drums and bass. Right now as of this writing, our bassist Gareth Harris is applying for a visa in his Homeland of Britian.
He use to play in a band in Europe as the bassist.
We have been mixing these songs, and will be uploading them to Youtube shortly, as our next live gig is in Shimokitazawa on the 17th at Rokudemonaiyori next month.
There are fans of this band, so they would want to sing along with the new songs. So as of this writing this morning, I am actually mixing the songs right now.
We will also be recording some more radio talk shows on the 29th this week.
We also are working with Chris Larke over the net as he sent some STEMS over to me, and I am currently mixing them for him.
I am using the waves Power pack, and well as some soundtoys plugins as well. Things are going swimingly well. Just check back here from time to time, as we let you know what is happening at our studio!
Ok! Have a nice day!!
Yesterday was a blissful moment in time. At least our studio time that is.
We had some laughs and some good recording got done.
We recorded Bass for three new #Slingshotmillion songs.
We started at around 10:45 and ended up finishing at around 17:00.
We got alot completed.
We were sending mp3’s over the net to our band leader who listened to the songs and critiqued each one to where we got it just right.
Overall a good session was had!
This is a 30 minute radio interview that we recorded here at the studios. it is aired on Youtube. It has an interview of me and Gareth our bassist who use to play in the Anti Vigilante band in Europe.
It also has “High stakes” which is my melody from the PES 2009 soccer game anthem song.
Its all in Japanese, but it is a funny talk show, with ‘la gorrila’ as the host and Yui, the main singer for Slingshotmillion also as the m-cee.
Here is the link to the audio talk show.
We hope you enjoy it.
It’s just about me and Gareth, and our background interview and also Gareth’s previous band song. I don’t want to give it all away here. You’ll just have to listen to it yourself.
Yesterday almost all the band members of Slingshotmillion came over to the studio for a recording of a 3o minute long radio talk show. We had some fun with it. Overall it was a good session.
