Recently I`ve been postponing posting. Sorry about that!

These days I have finally been feeling like life is worth living, and that I have energy now to blog.

Recently, in the studio I have been working on editing for DJ Ali, Michael Jackson`s tune “Beat it”. He edited the song himself, but working in the Professional enviroment with tools like Sound forge, you can get more surgical edits. which is what I have been up to recently for stillbliss. Also transposing the track from Eb to C.

I have also been in Contact with our good ol` client Chris Larke/Commander/Ekral.

He is asking us to mix a track of his, by sending us the Stems and telling us what to do by text.

We also mastered one of his trax as well.

Well thats everything bliss.

For the next few days I am free as a bird. Which is something I have been looking forward to for quite a while.

Slingshotmillion2 Recording session.

They are my band members, and good clients.

We recorded vocals, Tamberine, congas, And claps, and shouts.

Overall it was a fun session. We had the manager of our band sing parts too. He`s on the very left in the recording booth shots.

We recorded for about half a day. Took two breaks.

They bought me a monster energy drink for compensation.

They are a punk rock band, that had their drums, bass and guitars tracked in a commercial studio in Tokyo.

We are recording vocals at this studio, because it would take too long and the budget for the band would go way beyond their budget.

So they came out here with their main leader by car and that`s all I have to say for now.

A Yui Session.

Today from 11:30 am, we worked with Yui. From the band Slingshotmillion2, which I am also the lead guitarist for.

We recorded Vocals. And mixed and had some fun with filters and distortion, and flangers.

We are using the waves Power pack, as well as Auto tune, by Antares.

We are using Sonar Producer edition 8.5.

This is for the band`s mini album that had the drums, guitars, and bass recorded at a higher end studio. With Neve and SSL preamps.

But the vocals we are doing here at Stilbliss.

I guess thats what`s bliss right now.
